Applications for 2021 Entry are now being accepted.
Stroud High Sixth Form is an outstanding co-educational Sixth Form that welcomes boys and girls from over 25 different schools from across the county and beyond. It is accessible to you!
Entry Criteria
For September 2021 entry, we are changing our entry criteria to a points system. We offer opportunities for those students who achieve a minimum of 48 points taken from the sum of their best 8 full course GCSEs (for example a Grade 8 is equivalent to 8 points).
Students are also required to achieve a minimum Grade 6 in the subjects they wish to study at A level (note for Modern Foreign Languages, the Sciences and Mathematics we require a Grade 7).
Students can apply for our Creative Scholarship which is a bespoke pathway for students studying 2 or more subjects from the following A-Levels: Product Design, Art Textiles, Fine Art, Graphic Design and Photography. If you are interested in the Creative Scholarship please get in touch.
All students are expected to have a minimum of Grade 5 in both English Language and Mathematics, but students with a grade 4 will be considered if they have met the 48 point threshold or the requirements of the Creative Scholarship.
If you have any questions about the application process please contact Julia Merrett at jmerrett@stroudhigh.gloucs.sch.uk.
