Stroud High School is an Outstanding selective school based in the
market town of Stroud in Gloucestershire. We're a thriving community of over 900 young people and a team of staff all committed to redefining the 21st Century grammar school. The Sixth Form is the pinnacle of this environment.
Our academic results are exceptional. Last year 76% of all A-Level
entries were graded A*-B, making us one of the 50 highest performing grammar schools in the country. Our students go on to many different destinations including Oxbridge, Russell Group Universities, Higher Apprenticeships, Art College, a gap year or straight into their chosen career.
Our Sixth Form has approximately 300 students made up from Stroud High School and over 20 different schools across the county. For the first time in September 2019 we will formally be admitting boys as the school takes full responsibility for the delivery of its curriculum. It promises to be an exciting time to be part of the school.
We are located in a beautiful rural setting that is easily accessible from Stroud, Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon. Established transport networks are in place to help students from across the county to get to us, including bus networks, mini bus services and a nearby train station.
Stroud High Sixth Form is an inclusive community. We work closely with schools to support applications from students who have been in receipt of Pupil Premium. Please contact the school directly if you wish to find out more about these schemes.
Come and find out more about us at one of our Open events. We'd love to meet you and show you our wonderful Sixth Form.
We're admitting both girls and boys from September 2019.
