Stroud High Sixth Form

Stroud High School is an Outstanding selective school based in the market town of Stroud in Gloucestershire. We're a thriving community of over 1,000 young people and a team of staff all committed to redefining the 21st Century grammar school. The Sixth Form is the pinnacle of this environment.

Year-on-year our students achieve results that place SHSF amongst the very highest performing state schools in the South West, and within the top state schools in the country. In any given year A*-B grades range from 67%-80% and routinely around half of all grades are at A*/A.

Our students go on to many different destinations including Oxbridge, Russell Group universities, Conservatoires, Art college, degree apprenticeships in industry, a gap year or directly into their chosen career.

‍Our Sixth Form has approximately 300 students made up from Stroud High School and students from over 30 different schools from across the county and beyond. Since September 2019 we have accepted boys on roll. We also have overseas students in Year 12 who are studying in the UK as part of their international cultural programme. It promises to be an exciting time to be part of the school.

We are located in a beautiful rural setting that is easily accessible from Stroud, Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon. Established transport networks are in place to help students from across the county to get to us, including bus networks, mini bus services and a nearby train station.
